Once you’ve made the decision to have a home party, you want to make sure you have everything that you need to set up your displays.
When setting up your displays for a home party, you want to streamline. The simpler your display is, the easier it will be for your potential customers to view your product and the quicker it will take to set up and break down. You don’t want to spend two hours setting up and breaking down for a three-hour party; you also don’t want to clutter up the area where the party will be held.
Before your party date, be sure to talk to your hostess before the party so that you can decide if you need to bring extra tables, table cloths, or other supplies. You may even want to check out the home so that you can go ahead and decide how you want to lay out your product.
Consider laying out your product by price or at least having a section of $20 and under items.
Also, think about setting up mirrors for jewelry products that you may have available. You want your potential customers to be able to see themselves when trying on your jewelry.
If you’re selling an assortment of homemade products, align your products so that you various heights on the table. You don’t want the table to appear cluttered with everything flat on the table. Create stands of varying heights, carefully place your business cards, and lay out your merchandise so that in every eye-full, your potential customers see a variety.
